ABRASIVE WHEELS

Any person using an item of work equipment that presents a significant risk to the user, or others, must be trained in the correct use of such equipment. Appropriate training must cover not only the correct methods of use but also any hazards arising from the use and the necessary precautions to be observed.

It is not adequate to assume that because a person has a qualification in a trade, that they are competent with any tools or equipment. This is especially true of power tools and abrasive wheels. With this in mind, our Abrasive Wheel Training Course takes a generic approach to training with power tools so each participant is aware of the hazards and precautions.

Course duration is 3 hours and each participant will be awarded a certificate. All participants are fully certified for 3 years.
