This Patient Moving and Handling Training Course is designed for Healthcare Workers to enable them to safely move a patient without causing injury to the person they are moving or themselves.
Nursing staff, Healthcare Workers and Carers are involved in moving and handling patients on a daily basis and can be easily injured if the correct equipment or method is not used to aid the moving and handling of patients. All Healthcare Workers are required to take this course under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and Manual Handling Regulations 1993 and 2007.

This is a one day course. The certificate awarded to each participant is valid for 2 years.
